The Chinese, Egyptians and Mayans believed that jade represents, preserves and attracts love and luck.  Jade was also used as a symbol of high rank in Central America's Mayan and New Zealand's Maori cultures.

 

This lovely DoorGem hangs 9 inches to the end of the dangle.  The jade beads are 8mm.
